Willy Wonka's Runts package redesign
An updated look creates a simple design that retains the original energy.
Strategy
I kept the original fun colors but created a new style for the package based on the smooth exterior and zingy center of Runts candies. In a study of hand-lettered typography, I created a design that appears to have effortless yet zippy motion. Illustrated fruits mimic the type and give a visual representation of the flavor confined inside the candies ready to burst in your mouth.
